Welcome to St. Catherine of Siena Episcopal Church
We are an inclusive, mission-centered Christian community situated in South Reno.
We welcome you whether you are exploring faith for the very first time, returning to church after a long time away, coming from another faith tradition, or transferring from within our tradition. We welcome you regardless of ability, age, culture, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, marital status, race, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status.
We call ourselves Episcopalians. In much of the rest of the world outside of the United States and a few other places, we are known as Anglicans. If you are visiting or have moved here from abroad and are looking for an Anglican church– that is us!
Normally on Sundays we have two Services of Word and Sacrament (also known variously, depending on your background, as Masses, Divine Liturgies, Celebrations of Holy Eucharist, and Orders for Administering the Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion).
Families with young children often prefer the simplicity of our 9:00 AM service, but so too do others of all ages and from all walks of life. Likewise, there are people of all ages and from all walks of life, including families with young children, who prefer our more traditional worship at 11:00 AM. We invite you to stay for light refreshments and fellowship after either service so that we might get to know you.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have suspended in-person worship and activities at least through the end of June 2020. In the meantime we are gathering online for worship via Zoom at 10:00 AM on Sundays. The link is posted elsewhere on this site.

Children are welcome in all aspects of our community life at St. Catherine’s. We are delighted whenever children are part of our worship assemblies. For those who would prefer, however, a Nursery is available at 11:00 AM.
“By humble and faithful prayer, the soul acquires, with time and perseverance, every virtue.”
